The transport reality: Centennial Road is a single-lane country road. Post-concert exit queues for major shows regularly reach 60 to 90 minutes. Rideshare is essentially non-existent in Bowral after 10 PM. Wildlife — kangaroos and wombats — are most active on Southern Highlands roads between 7 PM and 1 AM, creating genuine hazards for unfamiliar drivers in the dark.
