Hilary Duff brings the lucky me tour to Afterpay Arena, Sydney Olympic Park, on Saturday 24 October 2026.

Quick answer: Hilary Duff plays Afterpay Arena (formerly Qudos Bank Arena) at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 24 October 2026, with a 7:30pm ticketed start and special guest La Roux. The cheapest way there is the train to Olympic Park Station, a 5-minute walk from the arena. Parking costs $8 an hour up to $40 a day and should be pre-booked. If you are coming from across Sydney, flying in, travelling as a group or simply want a guaranteed ride home after the encore, a pre-booked chauffeur with a fixed price confirmed at booking is the most reliable door-to-door option. Get an instant quote.

Hilary Duff is bringing the lucky me tour to Australia this October, her first full-scale global headline run in almost two decades, in support of her 2026 album luck… or something. For a generation of fans who grew up with Lizzie McGuire, "So Yesterday" and "Come Clean", the Sydney show is a big night out, and it is a one-night-only stop between Brisbane and Melbourne.

That makes Saturday 24 October a busy night at Sydney Olympic Park. A full arena empties at once, the Olympic Park train queues build quickly and rideshare pickups slow down around the precinct. This guide compares every way to get to the Hilary Duff Sydney concert, gives you a planning timeline for the night, and shows how to get home without the scramble.

How Do You Get to Afterpay Arena for Hilary Duff? Transport Options Compared

For most fans, the choice is between the train and a pre-booked car. The train is the cheapest. A private chauffeur is the only option that takes you door to door and is already waiting when the show ends. Here is how each option performs on a big arena night at Sydney Olympic Park.

OptionCostGetting thereGetting homeBest for
TrainOpal or contactless fareChange at Lidcombe for Olympic Park Station, then a 5-minute walkQueues build when a full arena leaves at onceSolo fans and couples near the rail network
Driving and parking$8 an hour, up to $40 a day, plus fuel and tollsSaturday traffic on the M4 and Parramatta Road. Pre-book parking by midnight the night beforeSlow exits from P1 and nearby car parks, and someone has to stay soberFamilies happy to wait out the car park exit
Ferry and busOpal or contactless fareFerry to Wentworth Point, then the route 526 bus to the precinctTwo legs, late at nightFans near the Parramatta River ferry wharves
Rideshare or taxiVariable, often higher at peak timesUsually workable on the way inLong waits at the taxi rank and in rideshare zones after the showShort trips when demand is low

Train to Olympic Park Station

According to the Afterpay Arena public transport guide, Sydney Trains runs services every 10 minutes between Lidcombe and Olympic Park stations from 5:00am to 11:55pm, with possible extensions depending on event finish times. Olympic Park Station is on Olympic Boulevard, about a 5-minute walk from the arena. Use an Opal card or contactless payment, and check Transport for NSW on the day for trackwork.

The train is good value if you live near a line and travel light. The catch is the trip home: when a full arena empties, the station queue can take longer than the encore, and you still have a connection at Lidcombe.

Driving and Parking at Sydney Olympic Park

Parking is managed by Sydney Olympic Park, not the arena. There are more than 10,000 spaces across the precinct, and P1, right next to Afterpay Arena, holds over 3,300 cars. Casual parking is $8 an hour up to a maximum of $40 a day, and the venue strongly encourages you to pre-book your parking by midnight the day before to guarantee a spot. On major event days, free shuttle buses run between the arena and the operating car parks.

The cost that does not show up on the parking receipt is the exit. After a big show, thousands of cars leave the same car parks at once, and the designated driver misses the post-show drinks.

Ferry and Bus

Ferries run to Wentworth Point, linking Sydney Olympic Park with the Parramatta and Sydney CBDs, and the route 526 bus connects the wharf with the precinct for arena events. It is a scenic option on the way in, but it means two legs on the way home late at night.

Rideshare and Taxis

Rideshare and taxis usually work well on the way to the show. The trip home is harder. The dedicated taxi rank is on Herb Elliott Avenue near the Pullman hotel, and after a big arena night expect queues, higher prices at peak times and drivers stuck in the same traffic leaving the precinct.

Private Chauffeur or Limo Service

A pre-booked private car is the only option that collects you from your door and has a driver already waiting in the precinct when the lights come up. You agree a meeting point and pickup window in advance, your chauffeur confirms it by SMS, and you walk to the car instead of joining a queue. Our chauffeurs follow established Sydney Olympic Park event pickup procedures for big nights in the precinct.

Recommended Timeline for Saturday 24 October

This is our planning guide, based on the 7:30pm ticketed start. Saturday evening traffic is lighter than a weekday peak, but the roads into Olympic Park still fill as the arena does. La Roux opens the night, so arrive early if you want to see the full bill.

StepSuggested time
Chauffeur pickup: Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore5:15pm to 5:45pm
Chauffeur pickup: Northern Beaches, Sutherland Shire5:00pm to 5:30pm
Chauffeur pickup: Parramatta, Hills District, Inner West5:45pm to 6:15pm
Arrive at Sydney Olympic Park6:00pm to 6:45pm, allowing time for security screening
Ticketed start7:30pm
Return pickupA window agreed when you book, with the meeting point confirmed by SMS before the encore

Tip: book your outbound and return legs together. Your chauffeur is then positioned in Olympic Park before the show ends, rather than fighting inbound traffic after it. The finish time has not been published, so a pickup window is safer than a fixed time.

Hilary Duff Concert Transfers Across Sydney and NSW

We pick up from anywhere in Greater Sydney and regional NSW. Here is what to expect from the main areas.

Sydney CBD, Darling Harbour and the Eastern Suburbs

Usually 30 to 45 minutes to Olympic Park via the M4 or Parramatta Road. A good base if you want dinner in the city first.

North Shore and Northern Beaches

From Chatswood, Mosman, Manly or Dee Why, allow extra time for the harbour crossing or the Ryde corridor. Leave a little earlier than you think.

Parramatta, the Hills District and Western Sydney

Close to the venue, but the final approach into the precinct slows as the arena fills. A short, simple run with a car waiting afterwards.

Inner West and the Sutherland Shire

From Newtown, Balmain or Leichhardt it is a quick trip west. From Cronulla or Miranda, allow for the M5 and M4 connections.

Central Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Blue Mountains

Nobody has to drive the M1 or the Great Western Highway late at night after the show. Journeys over 90km receive 10% off, so confirm the discount in your quote.
