Quick answer: BIGBANG play their only Australian show at Accor Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 31 October 2026. Gates open at 5pm, the show starts at 7.30pm and Transport for NSW expects it to finish around 10pm. Public transport is included with your concert ticket, but there are no Major Event Buses, trains from the city only run to Lidcombe where you change, and trackwork affects several lines. Parking is pre-book only at a flat $40. For door-to-door travel with a car waiting after the show, a pre-booked chauffeur or limo service at a fixed price confirmed at booking is the most reliable option.
K-pop legends BIGBANG are back. G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG reunite for the BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > to celebrate the group's 20th anniversary, and Sydney is the only Australian stop. With up to 65,000 fans expected at Accor Stadium, many of them travelling from interstate and overseas, getting to Sydney Olympic Park and home again needs a plan.
This guide covers every way to get to the BIGBANG concert, the trackwork and road closures that matter on the night, and how to book a private car, chauffeur or limo service that is already waiting when the lights come up.

BIGBANG launched under YG Entertainment in 2006 and became one of the most influential groups in K-pop, with hits like Haru Haru, FANTASTIC BABY and BANG BANG BANG. XX : COSMOS is their first tour since 2017, following their return to the stage at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The 33-show world tour opened at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on 21 August 2026, and Sydney is the only Australian market.
That matters for transport. A one-off stadium show draws fans from every state and from overseas, many landing in Sydney on concert weekend, unfamiliar with Olympic Park and carrying luggage. If you are travelling in, sort your transport when you book your flights.
The short answer: the train is the cheapest way to get to Accor Stadium for BIGBANG because travel is included in your ticket, but most fans will change at Lidcombe and queue after the show. A pre-booked chauffeur is the most comfortable door-to-door option, especially for groups, families and anyone heading back to a hotel across town or the airport.
| Option | Cost | Getting there | Getting home | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Train and Metro | Included with your ticket | Change at Lidcombe from the city. Direct trains from the west | Queues at Olympic Park and a busy change at Lidcombe | Solo fans living near the rail network |
| Driving and parking | $40 flat rate, pre-booked, plus fuel and tolls | Heavy traffic approaching the precinct | Up to an hour of extra time to exit car parks | Groups with a designated driver |
| Rideshare or taxi | Set by the app or meter, and can rise with demand | Drop-off zones near Afterpay Arena and the Aquatic Centre | Shared zones, road closures and traffic delays | Short trips when demand is low |
| Pre-booked chauffeur or limo service RECOMMENDED | Fixed price confirmed at booking | Door to door from home, your hotel or the airport | Chauffeur already in position at an agreed pickup point | Couples, groups, families, interstate and overseas fans |
A valid pre-purchased BIGBANG ticket covers travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on Sydney Trains, non-booked NSW TrainLink Intercity services (within Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog), Sydney Metro, metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses, light rail and ferries. Show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding. It stays valid until 4am the following day, so keep it handy for the trip home.
Transport for NSW warns that Lidcombe will be very busy, so allow plenty of extra time. Read the full Transport for NSW BIGBANG travel advice before you leave home.
Several lines have planned trackwork on concert day:
If you live on the Upper North Shore, the Central Coast, in Newcastle or the Hunter, a late concert night on replacement buses is the strongest case for booking a private car.
Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will not run for this concert. Extra route 526 buses run from Strathfield and Rhodes, and extra route 533 buses run from Chatswood, with return services after the show. Roads in the precinct will close, so these buses will divert.
Parking must be pre-booked through Sydney Olympic Park, with a flat $40 fee, and the pre-book system closes at 11:59pm the night before. Traffic will be heavy approaching the precinct, and Transport for NSW advises allowing up to an hour of extra travel time to exit car parks after the concert. Your ticket also includes free Transport Park&Ride parking when you complete the trip by public transport.
For more on how event parking works, read our guide to avoiding Accor Stadium parking chaos.
Designated pick-up and drop-off zones will be outside Afterpay Arena, next door to the stadium, and outside the Aquatic Centre, both a short walk away. Taxi ranks are on Herb Elliott Avenue near Showground Road at the Pullman Hotel. With roads closed in the precinct, Transport for NSW expects taxis and rideshare to experience delays. When the stadium empties at around 10pm, you are sharing those zones, and the app's fare and wait time, with everyone else.

A pre-booked chauffeur turns the hardest part of the night into the easiest. Your driver collects you from home, your hotel or the airport, drops you as close as the road closures allow, and is in position at an agreed pickup point before the show ends. The price is fixed when you book, so book early to lock in your rate before event-night pricing applies.
Cars on Demand chauffeurs work Sydney Olympic Park event nights throughout the year. See our Accor Stadium pickup procedures for how it works on a big night.

This timeline is based on gates at 5pm, a 7.30pm start and a finish around 10pm. Saturday traffic and road closures build through the afternoon, so aim to arrive early.
| Time | What to do |
|---|---|
| 3:30 to 4:15pm | Chauffeur pickup from the Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore or airport hotels |
| 4:00 to 4:30pm | Chauffeur pickup from Parramatta, the Hills District or the Inner West |
| 4:30 to 5:15pm | Arrive at Sydney Olympic Park, ahead of the gate rush |
| 5:00pm | Gates open |
| 7:30pm | Show starts |
| Around 10:00pm | Expected finish |
| 10:00 to 10:30pm | Walk to your agreed chauffeur pickup point. No station queue, no app. |
Tip: book your outbound and return legs at the same time. Your chauffeur is then already in the precinct before the encore, rather than fighting inbound traffic after it.
Your Cars on Demand chauffeur confirms an agreed pickup point before the show ends, away from the train station queues. Road closures around the stadium mean pickup points can differ from a normal event night, so follow your booking confirmation rather than the general rideshare signs.

With only one Australian date, plenty of fans are flying into Sydney for the weekend. Here is how to make the airport leg simple.
Our Sydney Airport transfers include live flight tracking through RideMinder, powered by Cirium aviation data, so your pickup moves with your actual landing time. Your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal. Check our airport meeting points before you land, or read our guide to Sydney Airport T1 pick up points if you are arriving on an international flight.
Thinking of taking the train from the airport instead? Your concert ticket does not cover the airport station access fee, and you will be carrying luggage through busy stations on one of the biggest nights of the year.
Western Sydney International opens to passenger flights on Sunday 25 October 2026, the weekend before the concert. According to the Australian Government, Jetstar will operate flights to the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Brisbane, and Air New Zealand begins Auckland flights on 26 October. Landing at WSI? Book a Western Sydney Airport transfer to your hotel or straight to Olympic Park.
We can get you to your home airport too, on the same account. See our Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Darwin airport transfer pages.

Trains from the city run to Lidcombe, so a city hotel means a change on the way out and a busy platform on the way back. A chauffeur from your CBD hotel removes both. Allow extra time on concert night, as traffic builds approaching the precinct.
Trackwork on the T9 Northern Line and the T1 North Shore Line between Berowra and Hornsby means replacement buses for many North Shore fans. Route 533 buses run from Chatswood, or a private car takes you door to door from Chatswood, Gordon, Hornsby or Wahroonga.
Inner West trains do not run on 31 October, and Eastern Suburbs fans will travel via Central to Lidcombe. A pre-booked car from Bondi, Double Bay, Randwick, Newtown or Leichhardt is the simpler option for a late finish.
Direct trains run to Olympic Park from the west, and these suburbs are close to the precinct, so a chauffeur run home is short once you are clear of the closures.
Buses replace trains between Newcastle Interchange and Hornsby, and across the Hunter Line. That is a long night on replacement buses after a 10pm finish. A private car gets you home without the changes, and journeys over 90km receive 10% off.
Blue Mountains trains only run as far as Blacktown on the day. For Canberra, Wollongong and Blue Mountains fans, a door-to-door chauffeur means nobody has to drive home late, and Canberra journeys qualify for the 10% long-distance discount on trips over 90km.
| Your group | Recommended vehicle | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Solo fans and couples (1 to 3) | Executive sedan | Quiet, comfortable and straight to the drop-off point |
| Small groups with luggage (up to 4) | Premium SUV | Extra room for bags if you are coming from the airport |
| Friend groups (5 to 7) | People mover | Everyone arrives and leaves together, on one fixed fare |
| Larger groups and corporate hospitality | Minibus or several coordinated vehicles | One booking, one invoice, staggered pickups across Sydney |
