Quick answer: Zara Larsson plays two Sydney shows: Thursday 15 October 2026 at Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park and Friday 23 October 2026 at Afterpay Arena (formerly Qudos Bank Arena) in Sydney Olympic Park, both with an 8:00pm start. For the Hordern, take the L2 or L3 light rail to Moore Park, park at the Entertainment Quarter or book a chauffeur, and allow extra time because the Rugby League World Cup opener is next door the same night. For Afterpay Arena, take the train via Lidcombe to Olympic Park, pre-book parking, or book a chauffeur. Getting in is easy. Getting home is where a pre-booked car with a fixed price confirmed at booking earns its keep. Get an instant quote.
Swedish pop star Zara Larsson is back in Australia for the first time in more than a decade, and Sydney demand has already reshaped the tour. The Thursday show at the Hordern sold out, a second Sydney date was added, and that second show was then upgraded from Hordern Pavilion to Afterpay Arena. Two shows, eight nights apart, at two venues with completely different transport problems.
Whether you are after a private car, a concert shuttle alternative, a group people mover or a professional limo service to Hordern Pavilion or Afterpay Arena, this guide covers how to get there, how to get home, and where a pre-booked Cars on Demand chauffeur fits.

Midnight Sun is Zara Larsson's fourth studio album, released in late 2025 after So Good (2017), Poster Girl (2021) and VENUS (2024). The Australian leg was announced in February 2026 and sold out quickly, which led to extra dates and venue upgrades in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
For transport, the two Sydney shows could hardly be more different. The Hordern is a historic, mid-sized room a few kilometres from the CBD, sharing a precinct with Allianz Stadium and the SCG. Afterpay Arena is Australia's largest indoor arena, around 16km west of the city at Sydney Olympic Park. Pick your plan for the venue on your ticket, not the one your friend used last time.
The easiest ways to get to Hordern Pavilion are the L2 or L3 light rail to Moore Park, the Entertainment Quarter car park, or a pre-booked chauffeur to the Entertainment Quarter. On 15 October, plan for a much busier precinct than usual, because the Rugby League World Cup opener is next door.
Thursday 15 October is not a normal concert night in Moore Park. The Rugby League World Cup opens at Allianz Stadium with Australia v New Zealand, kicking off at 8:05pm, a few hundred metres from the Hordern. That means a sold-out concert and a big international match sharing the same light rail stop, the same roads off Anzac Parade and Moore Park Road, and the same rideshare pickup areas.

The L2 Randwick Line and L3 Kingsford Line stop at Moore Park on Anzac Parade, just north of Lang Road and a short walk from the Entertainment Quarter. The Entertainment Quarter says services run every 5 to 10 minutes between Circular Quay and Moore Park, from 5am to 1am. It is the simplest way in from the CBD. After the show, you may share the platform with football fans heading the same way.
The Entertainment Quarter has a multi-storey car park of around 2,000 spaces with a 2.1 metre height clearance, open until 2am. On a night with a stadium crowd next door, assume it will fill early and that the exit onto Lang Road will be slow. Check current event-night rates with the Entertainment Quarter before you drive.
The Entertainment Quarter runs a managed taxi rank on Errol Flynn Boulevard, across from the Hordern, and recommends Errol Flynn Boulevard for rideshare drop-off and pickup. That works on a quiet night. On 15 October, thousands of people from two venues may be requesting cars at once, so expect longer waits, cancellations and higher on-demand fares.
A pre-booked chauffeur drops you at the Entertainment Quarter and confirms an agreed pickup point before the show ends, so you are not hunting for a car among two crowds. Your fare is a fixed price confirmed at booking. Book early to lock in your rate before event-night pricing applies. Our Sydney concert transfers and Sydney event transfers pages explain how big-night pickups work.
The easiest ways to get to Afterpay Arena are a train via Lidcombe to Olympic Park Station, pre-booked parking in the Sydney Olympic Park car parks, or a pre-booked chauffeur. Friday peak-hour traffic heading west is the main thing to plan around on the way in.
According to Afterpay Arena's public transport page, Sydney Trains services run about every 10 minutes between Lidcombe and Olympic Park from 5:00am to 11:55pm, and can be extended depending on event finish times. Olympic Park Station is on Olympic Boulevard, a 5-minute walk from the arena. Plan your trip on transportnsw.info and tap on with Opal or a contactless card.
It is the cheapest option and easy on the way in. After a sold-out arena show, you share the platform with most of the crowd, then change again at Lidcombe if you live off that line.
Parking is managed by Sydney Olympic Park, with more than 10,000 spaces across the precinct. The P1 car park adjoins the arena and holds more than 3,300 cars, and other car parks are within a 10-minute walk. The venue lists casual parking at $8 per hour up to $40 per day, and strongly encourages you to pre-book your parking by midnight the day before the event. Expect a slow exit onto the surrounding roads after the show.
The dedicated taxi rank is on Herb Elliott Avenue near the Pullman hotel. Rideshare is usually fine on the way in. After the encore, thousands of people request cars at once, pickup pins drift and on-demand prices can rise with demand.
Your chauffeur tracks the finish, is positioned in the precinct before the crowd leaves and confirms an agreed pickup point by SMS, away from the station and taxi rank queues. Our Sydney Olympic Park stadium pickup procedures show how we manage big-event nights in the precinct, and our complete guide to getting to Afterpay Arena covers the venue in more detail.
Here is how each option performs at both Sydney venues, on the way in and after the show.

These times assume the published 8:00pm start and an estimated 10:30pm finish. Neither venue has published a finish time, so check your ticket the day before.
Why the earlier Thursday pickups? Moore Park traffic will build ahead of the 8:05pm kick-off next door, so arriving before the stadium rush is the calmer option. On Friday, the main factor is westbound peak-hour traffic on the M4 and Parramatta Road.

Close to Moore Park for the Hordern show, but the light rail and rideshare zones will be shared with a stadium crowd. For Afterpay Arena, it is the longest public transport trip home of any Sydney area, which makes a door-to-door car the strongest option.
A short run to Sydney Olympic Park for the Afterpay Arena show. For the Hordern, a chauffeur saves the late cross-city trip home on a weeknight.
Both venues mean at least one change on public transport late at night. A pre-booked car takes you straight home.
Fans coming in from outside Sydney face a long drive after a 10:30pm finish. A chauffeur means nobody has to drive tired or stay sober.

Plenty of fans are flying in for these shows. Our Sydney Airport transfers are flight-tracked through RideMinder, powered by Cirium, so your pickup adjusts to your actual landing time. Check where your chauffeur meets you at each terminal before you fly.

Catch the L2 Randwick or L3 Kingsford light rail to the Moore Park stop on Anzac Parade and walk to the Entertainment Quarter, park in the Entertainment Quarter car park, use rideshare or a taxi from Errol Flynn Boulevard, or book a private chauffeur door to door. Yes. The Rugby League World Cup opener, Australia v New Zealand, kicks off at 8:05pm on Thursday 15 October 2026 at Allianz Stadium, in the same Moore Park precinct as Hordern Pavilion. Expect busier light rail, roads and rideshare zones than on a normal concert night.
Take a train to Lidcombe and change for Olympic Park Station, a 5-minute walk from the arena. You can also drive and pre-book parking with Sydney Olympic Park, take a taxi from the rank on Herb Elliott Avenue, or book a private chauffeur who is waiting at an agreed pickup point after the show.
Yes. Qudos Bank Arena at Sydney Olympic Park is now called Afterpay Arena. The venue says the name change does not affect scheduled events, tickets or venue operations.
Parking is managed by Sydney Olympic Park, with more than 10,000 spaces across the precinct and the P1 car park next to the arena holding more than 3,300 cars. The venue lists casual parking at $8 per hour up to $40 per day and strongly encourages pre-booking by midnight the day before the event.
Both Sydney shows have an 8:00pm ticketed start. A finish time has not been published, so plan around an estimated finish of about 10:30pm and book your return pickup for 10:30 to 11:00pm.

Yes. Add your flight number when you book and Cars on Demand can run Sydney Airport to your hotel and your hotel to the venue, or one continuous trip if timing allows. Your chauffeur tracks your flight and adjusts the pickup to your actual landing time.
Backpacks of any size are not permitted. The Afterpay Arena event page says no bags larger than A4 (30cm x 20cm), while the Ticketek listing quotes a smaller 15cm x 20cm limit, so bring the smallest bag you can and check the venue's conditions of entry before you leave.
Cars on Demand has been moving Australians since 1990, with a 99.99% on-time reliability record. Whether you are at the Hordern on 15 October with a stadium crowd next door, or at Afterpay Arena on 23 October with a full arena heading for the exits, sort the ride home before you sort the outfit.
